I'm Sammi. 23 years old. I love films of all kinds, sing along to musicals every time I get into the car, bathe dogs on an almost daily basis, fangirl over Darren Criss, Chris Colfer, Glee, Harry Potter, Starkid and Neil Patrick Harris far more than I should. But that's okay, I was born this way.
To everyone who came out tonight to stand with us, to share your stories, to cry, to laugh, to sing Don’t Stop Believin’ and to remember the brave, amazing, generous and sincere man that Cory Monteith was, thank you. This is just a glimpse of the amount of people that showed up at Paramount Studios tonight in remembrance of Cory. The security guards couldn’t let us into the property but had no issues with us holding our vigil across the street.
They had no idea so many people would come out to honor him and at the end of the night called the president of Paramount to see if we could leave our gifts, flowers, letters and candles outside. They said we could as long as they were in sight of the security camera so they could watch over them all night and in the morning send them off to Cory’s family. It was a moment of greatness, coming out of a lot of bad.
Thank you again for grieving with us tonight, I will never forget the stories of how many lives he touched and the kindness of his fans as we all mourned over the loss of a truly wonderful man. Your bravery will not be forgotten, Cory, your memory will live on and the lives you touched, the people you saved, will be forever changed. Rest in peace. I miss you so much already, I hope wherever you are, you are finally at rest.
